It amazes me how many people have never truly lived.

I know there is the way we were brought up.
I know we have parents.
I know we have elders.
I know we have the Bible and God.
I know we have counselors, pastors, and adult friends.
I know we have friends: the bad ones, okay ones, good ones, and best ones.

They give us guidelines, rules, permissions, regulations, advice, opinions, etc... but at the end of the day, it is up to us to make a decision. I just think it's sad that there are people out there who have yet to make a decision on their own.

See, good or bad, I think it is not only important, but necessary for the individual, to have those moments of living on the edge, taking chances, falling down, breaking the rules, or trying new ideas. You know, it's that concept of defying gravity. Pretty cool concept.

But then again, I'm sure this could be retaliated with somebody accusing me of too much acceptance, or perhaps I am trying to justify my personal beliefs. Who knows, but I do know there are too many people that have never truly lived.

That is not how I want to go.
